 About Rev. Sylvia Moseley

Two things can be said of Rev. Sylvia Moseley, she loves the Lord, and has boundless energy to serve God’s people.  Rev. Sylvia Moseley came to Christ later in life after years of vainly trying to build a successful life without God. God has used all her experiences for His glory and Kingdom building.  Her  life in a single parent household growing up in the inner city of Brooklyn, N.Y., traveling and serving her country as a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army, being widowed with a six-month baby, the death of four siblings,  her struggles with alcohol, drug, tobacco, and lifestyle addictions have all shaped her convictions and passions to be a soldier on the battlefield for Christ.  Rev.  Moseley has been set free from drugs and alcohol  addiction for the last fourteen years, and gives God all the praise and glory for His deliverance.

God is using Rev. Sylvia Moseley in leadership at Omega Baptist Church as the ministry leader of the Social Justice.  Rev. Moseley  is helping to take the word of God to prisons, jails, and families of those the world has counted down and out.  Rev. Sylvia is a volunteer chaplain at Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, a member of the Dayton Homicide Prayer Vigil, active with Vote Dayton, Cropwalk, board member of Powernet of Dayton, and a member of the Interdenominational Women’s Ministerial Alliance in Dayton.  Rev. Moseley has an undergraduate  degree from  Queens College,in NYC, a Master of Public Administration from  City University,  graduated valedictorian with  a Master of Divinity Degree from Payne Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing   a Doctor of Divinity degree in transformational leadership in the global city.  Rev. Sylvia is a mother of two sons.
