Lady Jae
In 2004, Janita Aikens sought the Lord for her purpose. After much fasting and praying, her gift manifested as Lady Jae; a Christian comedienne anointed to make people laugh. Since that time, God has opened doors for her to co-host radio shows, act in stage productions and be the headlining act at comedy clubs across the nation.
Lady Jae refers to herself as “pew baby” and hopes to reach the secular and church audiences with her comedic styling. Dubbed “the girlfriend’s best friend forever,” her love for entertaining and teaching led to the release of Saints Gone Wild. On this debut CD, Lady Jae delivers hilarious anecdotes to real life issues. Her outrageously truthful delivery about marriage, family and church promises to have you doubled over with laughter.
Lady Jae has appeared on Streaming Faith and Word Network and toured with Heavy Hitters Gospel Comedy in 2008. She has opened for many artists including Gary Owens, Vaughn Anthony and the award-winning Gospel trio, Christopher. She is currently on the Gas2High Christian Comedy Tour with Markus Wiley of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, Sister Cantaloupe and Akintundé.
