Greetings Fellow Believers, I had to attend several meetings today, and was slightly surprised at some comments, and not surprised at some others that were made in a heated exchange regarding outreach ministry, church co-operation[or lack thereof], and the role racism[and other ISM's] can play in making ministry ineffective to meet the needs of people. After taking a nap and getting a little rest, this is what I have to share with you. {Isn't it amazing how much clearer our thoughts are when we have rested and gotten the clutter out. Sometimes that may be what God requires of us, to get the clutter out before He can use us for His purposes.} Yours in Christ, The Reverend Raymond Walters Stone Squarer Ministries
We as believers are on a journey of spiritual growth--- or at least we should be. The growth comes from a deeper understanding of God, His will, and His ways. We see God as we read the Bible and learn who He is. We see His will as we study more in depth and learn the principles that lie beneath the surface of the text. We see His ways in deeper study yet, getting a more complete understanding from the whole Word.
The Bible indicates that every believer has at least one spiritual gift to be used in God's work. Every believer is to have a realm of ministry or influence where he represents God and seeks to lead others into salvation or deeper understanding of Him. Have we yielded to God's will in what we do for Him?
Sometimes when God calls, He also reveals things in our lives that need attention. Are we willing to let go of our own desires and enter fully into what He wants? Are we willing to let Him make us usable? The Reverend Raymond Walters, Stone Squarer Ministries
